Pastor Flora Johnson was born in North Carolina and relocated to New York City in 1982. Struggling with an addiction and desperate for deliverance, in 1988 she was invited to The Faith Deliverance Center. It is there she was born again and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Through the teaching of the Word of God under the leadership of the late and beloved Overseer Deborah Mitchell, she was given a solid foundation to build her faith in God. Pastor Johnson became rooted and grounded in Christ as she continued to grow and mature in God.

 

In 2005 Pastor Johnson earned her Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Psychology from the College of New Rochelle. In 2010 she graduated from Fordham University with her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Pastor Johnson has pursued her public career in Substance Abuse and Addiction Treatment. She is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Support (OASAS) as a Certified Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) Level Two.

 

Pastor Johnson is passionate in her belief that those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol can be delivered and healed. She also gives hope to those who experience Domestic Violence Abuse and are seeking support. She takes the ministry of healing and deliverance to the community, reaching out to those in need of our Savior Jesus Christ. She is a member of the Borough of Brooklyn Interfaith Advisory Board (BBIAG) and sponsors a weekly prayer for the healing of HIV/AIDS. Pastor Johnson believes strongly in the ministry of prayer. As an intercessor, she devotes time to prayer and seeking God.
